Signeasy Review 2026: Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict
Signeasy review: why the app rates 4.9 and Trustpilot 1.2, the monthly prices behind the toggle, the 5-send cap, auto-renewal, cancelling, and who should skip.
Signeasy's iPhone app holds 4.9 out of 5 from more than 34,000 ratings on the App Store. On Trustpilot, the same company holds 1.2 from 68 reviews (both checked October 2026). People who sign with it like it. A loud share of the people paying for it don't.
My Signeasy review in one line: it is a simple, mobile-first signing app with fair prices on annual billing, sold as an auto-renewing subscription with a 5-send cap on its cheapest plan, and its worst 2026 reviews are about billing and support, not signing.

Signeasy review verdict: who it's for and who should skip it
Signeasy is worth paying for when you sign and send from a phone, when a small team sends contracts every week, or when you need HIPAA or 21 CFR Part 11 through a custom plan. It is poor value when one person sends a handful of documents a month, because you pay for the seat every month either way.
Best for: iPhone, iPad and Android users who sign on the go; small teams that send above about 10 documents a month and want templates and reminders (Business); teams on HubSpot or SharePoint (Business Pro).
Skip if: you send fewer than about 5 documents a month, your volume swings from month to month, or you want a plan that stops on its own.
Here is how users rate Signeasy on review sites, checked October 2026.

| Google Play, Android app | 4.0 / 5 | 22,013 ratings | October 2026 |
| Capterra, overall | 4.7 / 5 | 460 reviews | October 2026 |

What users say about Signeasy in 2026
The high scores and the low one come from different moments. App Store and Capterra reviewers mostly rate the act of signing. The one-star reviews in 2026 come from people writing about an upgrade, a renewal, a refund, the price or a form that would not work.
The rating split: app users vs payers
“The platform made it easy as mentioned in the name to sign important documents.”
“Simple to use either from the phone or laptop, and more cost friendly than the other place.”
“Great application for those on the go and can't be tied to a laptop with adobe pro. This makes signing and going fun and easy.”
“I agreed and paid for the year. Once I did this, they immediately blocked me from using the document signature and requiring I pay for an additional year of their pro service for $179 on top of the $99 I just paid for a year of the service I had been using for years.”
“If you need a refund, they will simply email you, tell you to talk to Apple (which we all know is absolutely impossible), and then close your ticket.”
“Site and service is junk. I had to enter an e-mail to do anything (I was told AFTER I took my time signing a simple PDF and tried to download it).”

Below, the 2026 reviews are grouped by theme, complaints in full and a few positives. Every quote is copied as written and linked to where it was posted. Few written reviews of Signeasy are dated 2026: Capterra shows one and G2 one, so most quotes come from the App Store, Google Play and Trustpilot.
Pricing and billing: upgrades and renewals
Most App Store money complaints in 2026 are about what happened after paying: an upgrade that cost more than expected, renewal prompts, cancelling, and refunds handled by Apple. One App Store reviewer asks for a one-time use option, and another objects to the paywall.
On Google Play, two reviewers object to paying a yearly price just to sign, and a third to subscriptions as such.
“They recently asked if I would like to upgrade from my monthly package I’ve had for years to a year subscription. I agreed and paid for the year. Once I did this, they immediately blocked me from using the document signature and requiring I pay for an additional year of their pro service for $179 on top of the $99 I just paid for a year of the service I had been using for years.”
An iPhone subscriber moving from monthly to yearly billing.
“Do not purchase this unless you are certain you want to pay for it until you die and also afterword. They have Apple deal with all subscriptions and refunds.”
“It keeps asking to renew while the subscription is still current. It stops working”
“Cancel subscription is elusive”
“Even if it’s one dollar per signature or something as I don’t need it that much it requires you to need to pay to do anything”
A 2-star review titled "They should have a one time use option".
“EVERYTHING BEHIND A PAYWALL, EVEN THE SIMPLEST FEATURES THAT EVERY OTHER APP HAS FOR FREE”
“it costs $100 a year, this is abusive. Why does everyone want to charge for this super basic feature that should come preinstalled on every tablet in the world.”
“I can't believe this app has such a good score €75/year for only signing documents, are you people insane?”
“We don't want subscription models anymore. America is broke trying to afford subscriptions.”
“I’m glad I came across SignEasy… it has been great! Simple to use either from the phone or laptop, and more cost friendly than the other place.”
After leaving DocuSign.
Those complaints sit on top of Signeasy's own terms, covered in the pricing section below: plans renew automatically, and subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed and refunded through Apple.
Support: refunds handed to Apple
Support complaints in 2026 are about refunds, being passed on to Apple, getting no help, and, from one Google Play reviewer, emailing again and again to cancel. Trustpilot also notes that the company "hasn't replied to negative reviews" on its profile.
“If you need a refund, they will simply email you, tell you to talk to Apple (which we all know is absolutely impossible), and then close your ticket.”
“No support. Have a plan. No access.”
“Frustrating Experience with Signeasy: Poor Support & Overpriced”
The title of a 0.5 out of 5 review.
“DON'T use this app , a bunch of thieves and ignorant team , been emailing them none stop to cancel my subscription s I magically don't have it on my app . losers , hate you”
Business lists 24/7 email support and Business Pro lists 24/7 priority support, per Signeasy's pricing page (checked October 2026).
Ease of use: simple for most, broken for some
Ease of use is the main praise in the higher scores, and Capterra's one 2026 review says so. The 2026 complaints on the App Store are about a confusing app, logouts, files it would not open and documents it would not let the reviewer sign; the one on Trustpilot is about a form.
On Google Play, two reviewers in August 2026 describe being logged out while using the app.
“It is not an easy app - not intuitive. I don’t use it often, and every time have to spend lots of time trying to figure out how it works.”
“Multiple times now I’m logged out and need to go through all sorts of loopholes to get my account back. Seems to be more hassle than help”
“Every other time I try to e sign a document - sign easy says the document is in a format it doesn’t recognize. Even on some pdf’s.”
“All you can do is import a document. There is no way to edit or sign or interact with it in any way.”
“terrible, worst form app ive ever used. 1 star is too generous for this software.”
“This app doesn't stay logged in anymore. Even when you check it before trying to sign something and everything looks fine, it still logs you out and crashes, causing you to lose all of your settings at that time. it is futile to go back and try to find it again, as it is assuredly gone!”
“I've used Signeasy for years and it's always been great, but lately I've gotten frequent and random logouts that happen while I'm using it. It's happening on multiple devices too.”
“easiest app ever!! pretty simple to use and easy to upload your documents. you can sign, initial, add date so easy. definitely will recommend this app to anyone who asks”
“I like the convenience of using Signeasy. The platform made it easy as mentioned in the name to sign important documents.”
“The user interface was clear and concise to upload your documents.”
“Great application for those on the go and can't be tied to a laptop with adobe pro. This makes signing and going fun and easy.”
Signer experience: a sign-up wall before the download
One 2026 Trustpilot reviewer used Signeasy to sign a PDF and hit a wall when downloading it. Signeasy's pricing FAQ says people you send documents to need no account and pay nothing, so this is about signing your own file, not about signing one sent to you.
A Google Play reviewer in May 2026 also complains of needing an account just to sign, without saying whose document it was.
“I had to enter an e-mail to do anything (I was told AFTER I took my time signing a simple PDF and tried to download it). I was then asked to "sign up" in order to download the document, which I did, but the confirmation e-mail went to my spam folder.”
“I clicked it anyway, and then had to sign in *again* (redundant), which I did, only to discover my signed document wasn't even saved.”
The same review, next sentence.
“required account just to sign”
“Signeasy also provided an easy way to present your signed documents professionally to employers.”
Features, the API and Signeasy's MCP server
The two 2026 feature complaints I found are about the account itself and, on Google Play, an update that stopped one reviewer sending contracts.
“update not good..cannot send contracts!!!”
“Plus, I couldn't even find a way to delete my account, which I'd like to!”
I found no 2026 user reviews about Signeasy's API or its MCP server on the App Store, Google Play, Capterra, G2 or Trustpilot. The MCP server sits on the custom tier of the contract management plans Signeasy launched in July 2026, so the verdict on it is still out.
What Signeasy is and its key features
Signeasy is an e-signature app with web, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android versions. You upload a document, sign it yourself or place fields and send it to others, and track it until it is signed. Since July 2026 it also sells a contract management product on top of signing.
Here is what each eSignature plan includes, per Signeasy's plan comparison, checked October 2026:
| Feature | Personal | Business | Business Pro | Build Your Plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price per seat, billed yearly | $10 a month | $20 a month | $30 a month | Custom |
| Send documents for signature | 5 a month | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Seats | 1 user | Per seat | Per seat | 5+ seats |
| Templates | No | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Reminders, sequential signing, read receipts | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| In-person signing, multi-document envelopes | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| AI key terms and contract summary | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Custom branding, signer attachments | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| SharePoint and HubSpot | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Bulk send, SMS | No | No | Add-on | Yes |
| API | No | No | No | Extra cost |
Every plan includes the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, offline signing, and add-ins for Google Workspace and Microsoft apps. Signers get an email and sign without an account.
What Signeasy does well
Signeasy's strengths are real, and they explain the 4.9 on the App Store.
- Mobile first. The apps run on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android and sign offline, and the iPhone app supports Face ID or Touch ID, per Signeasy's pricing page and App Store listing. App users describe signing on the go without a laptop.
- Fair prices on annual billing. $20 a seat a month billed yearly for unlimited sends on Business is low for the category (checked October 2026).
- Works where you already are. Every plan signs from Google Workspace and Microsoft apps; SharePoint and HubSpot come with Business Pro.
- A route to regulated work. SSO, HIPAA and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 are sold through sales as add-ons or a custom plan.
Signeasy's compliance page lists SOC 2 Type 2 (the report is available to existing users on request), GDPR, HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11, checked October 2026. On the pricing page, HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 are not on the self-serve plans.
Signeasy pricing in 2026 (checked October 2026)
Signeasy's pricing page opens on annual billing, with a toggle that says "Annually (Save up to 33%)". The monthly prices only show after you switch the toggle. Here is what the page listed on October 5, 2026, before tax:
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Sends a month | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal | $10 a month ($120 a year) | $15 a month ($180 a year) | 5 | 1 user |
| Business | $20 per seat a month ($240) | $30 per seat a month ($360) | Unlimited* | Teams |
| Business Pro | $30 per seat a month ($360) | $40 per seat a month ($480) | Unlimited* | Teams needing branding, HubSpot, SharePoint |
| Build Your Plan | Custom, through sales | Custom | Custom | 5+ seats or high volume |
*The page says "Fair usage restrictions applicable." Its FAQ adds: "Our fair usage policy applies to each user’s account within reasonable limits of use. Signeasy reserves the right to investigate and suspend any account which violates our terms of service." The limit itself is not published.
The rest of the terms, from the same page and Signeasy's help center, checked October 2026:
- No free plan. The FAQ says "Signeasy offers a 14-day free trial". The App Store listing describes a 7-day trial in the iPhone app.
- Auto-renewal. The help center says: "by default all of our plans auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle". The pricing FAQ says the same for web plans.
- Refunds. The 100-day money-back guarantee covers yearly plans only: "no partial refunds will be provided after 100 days of your purchase (applicable on the Personal, Business, and Business Pro yearly plans only)".
- iPhone plans are different. Plans bought in the app are charged to your Apple account, under other names (Essential and Pro), and Apple renews them unless auto-renewal is off at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Add-ons. SMS, SSO, bulk send, HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 are sold through a demo request.
The API is priced separately. Starter is a free sandbox with 100 requests, Intermediate is $125 a month or $1,499 billed annually for 1,000 requests, and Advanced is $250 a month or $2,999 billed annually for 2,000 requests. The FAQ says credits last a year, and "If the plan expires your endpoint access will be restricted" (checked October 2026).

How to cancel Signeasy
Signeasy's help center article on cancelling from the web app (updated August 28, 2026) gives these steps:
- Log in to your Signeasy account in the web app.
- Click your initials at the top right, then Accounts & Settings.
- Click Billing on the left side panel and click Cancel Subscription.
- Select a reason and click Cancel Subscription again.
The article says your account then stays on the same plan "until the final day of the paid period". It also notes the steps apply to its Essential and Pro plan users. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel in your iPhone's subscription settings instead: Signeasy's help center sends you to Apple.
Where Signeasy falls short
The weak points are in the terms around the product. Each one comes from Signeasy's own pages, checked October 2026.
- Personal stops at 5 sends a month. The sixth contract in a month needs Business, which doubles the price.
- "Unlimited" has an unpublished limit. Business and Business Pro carry a fair usage policy, and Signeasy reserves the right to suspend accounts, but does not say where the line is.
- The cheap price is the yearly one. Monthly billing costs 50% more on Personal and Business and a third more on Business Pro.
- Plans renew on their own, and refunds stop at 100 days. The pricing page describes the money-back guarantee for yearly plans only.
- The iPhone app is billed by Apple. Plan names and prices differ from the web, and refunds go through Apple.
- Templates, reminders and the API cost more. Personal has no templates or reminders, and the API is a separate plan.
What changed at Signeasy in 2026
On July 20, 2026, Signeasy launched Intelligent Contract Management (ICM): "Today, Signeasy is entering our next chapter with Intelligent Contract Management (ICM), expanding beyond electronic signatures." Here is what that means for buyers, per Signeasy's pricing and product pages, checked October 2026:
- New plans. ICM Core is $45 and ICM Pro $60 per seat a month, each with a minimum of 3 seats. Bulk send on both is capped at 500 envelopes a year and SMS at 50 a year.
- An MCP server for Claude. Signeasy's MCP page says it "connects Claude to your contract library". Claude is the only assistant it names, and the ICM pricing page lists MCP under the custom Build Your Plan tier.
- New on eSignature plans. Approval workflows on Business Pro, plus bulk send and 21 CFR Part 11 through sales, are marked "New".
What a year of Signeasy costs at 5, 10 and 25 documents a month
At real small-business volumes, one sender pays $120 or $240 a year on yearly billing, and $180 or $360 on monthly billing. The table uses the cheapest plan that covers each volume, at prices checked October 2026 on Signeasy's pricing page, before tax:
| Volume, one sender | Cheapest plan that fits | 1 year, billed yearly | 1 year, billed monthly | 3 years, billed yearly | Per document, yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 a month (60 a year) | Personal, which caps at exactly 5 a month | $120 | $180 | $360 | $2.00 |
| 10 a month (120 a year) | Business | $240 | $360 | $720 | $2.00 |
| 25 a month (300 a year) | Business | $240 | $360 | $720 | $0.80 |
Personal can't stretch to 10 a month, because it caps at 5 sends, so the next step is Business. On monthly billing, the per-document cost is $3.00 at 5 and 10 a month and $1.20 at 25.
On Business, the flat price keeps falling per document as you send more, subject to fair usage.
Which Signeasy plan fits you
Match the plan to how many documents you send and what you need on day one.
| You are | Plan | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One person sending up to 5 documents a month | Personal, $120 a year | The only single-user plan; no templates or reminders |
| One person or a team sending more than 5 a month | Business, $240 per seat a year | Unlimited sends under fair usage, 5 templates, reminders |
| A team that needs branding, roles, HubSpot or SharePoint | Business Pro, $360 per seat a year | Those features start here |
| A developer embedding signing in an app | API plans, from $125 a month | Separate pricing, 1,000 requests a year on Intermediate |
| A healthcare or life sciences team | Build Your Plan, through sales | HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 are sold there |
| A team of 3 or more that wants contract management and Claude | ICM, from $45 per seat a month, 3 seats minimum | Repository, renewals, MCP on the custom tier |
| One person signing a few documents a month, unevenly | Probably not Signeasy | The seat renews either way; see the last section |

How I reviewed Signeasy
I and my team have used Signeasy. For this review I also read Signeasy's own pages and what its users wrote in 2026, and checked everything again on October 5, 2026:
- Vendor pages: the eSignature, API and ICM pricing pages and their FAQs, the compliance page, the MCP page, the July 20, 2026 ICM launch post, and two help center articles on subscriptions and cancelling (both updated August 28, 2026).
- Review platforms: App Store reviews dated February to July 2026, Google Play reviews dated January to September 2026, Trustpilot reviews dated January to September 2026, the one 2026 Capterra review and the one 2026 G2 review I could read, plus each platform's rating page. Software Advice showed no 2026 reviews, and Signeasy has no reviews on Product Hunt.
- Forums: I found no 2026 Reddit posts about using Signeasy, so none are quoted. The r/Scams thread in the warning above is about a scam, not the product.
Who should skip Signeasy, and what to use instead
Keep Signeasy if you sign on a phone every day, run a team that sends steadily, or need contract management. If your business needs HIPAA or SOC 2 paperwork, go with Signeasy's custom plan; if you just need your business documents signed without paying extra for that, use SignWith.
Skip Signeasy if you are one or two people who want a simple way to get a document signed, a few times a month and unevenly, with no subscription to renew. That is who we built SignWith for.
SignWith has no seats and no subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed. Every signed document uses one of your free monthly documents or a credit, including one that only you sign, and a declined, voided or expired document uses none.
- Upload a PDF, JPEG or PNG, add signature, date, text and checkbox fields, and set the signing order.
- Your recipients sign in the browser on any device, with no account.
- Every completed document comes with a Certificate of Completion that records timestamps, IP addresses, device and browser details and email events, sealed with a SHA-256 hash.
10 signed documents a month for a year, one sender
- SignWith, cheapest packs84 paid documents: 1 x Basic + 1 x Pro + 1 x Business$57
- SignWith Lifetime Dealone-time, unlimited credits$149
- Signeasy Business, billed yearly$240 per year$240
- Signeasy, billed monthly Business$30 per month$360
Here is the same year, side by side, at all three volumes. Signeasy prices checked October 2026; SignWith prices render from our pricing data, and the free monthly documents continue after you buy packs.
| Volume | Signeasy, 1 year (yearly / monthly billing) | SignWith, 1 year |
|---|---|---|
| 5 a month | $120 / $180 (Personal) | 3 free a month cover 36 documents; one Pro pack covers the other 24 for $19 |
| 10 a month | $240 / $360 (Business) | 84 paid documents: one Business, one Pro and one Basic pack, $29 plus $19 plus $9 |
| 25 a month | $240 / $360 (Business) | 264 paid documents: the Lifetime Deal at $149 one-time, cheaper than buying packs |
At today's prices that saves $101 (84%) at 5 a month, $183 (76%) at 10 and $91 (38%) at 25 in the first year, against Signeasy billed yearly. Over 3 years, Signeasy comes to $360, $720 and $720 at those volumes, against the Lifetime Deal at $149 one-time, once.
Signeasy gets cheaper as you send more. From about 40 documents a month, one Signeasy Business seat billed yearly costs less than SignWith credit packs, though the Lifetime Deal still costs less in the first year.
Signeasy sells its API as a separate plan, from $125 a month for 1,000 requests, and its MCP server names only Claude and sits on a custom contract management plan (checked October 2026). SignWith takes a different route:
- An API and an MCP server on every account. SignWith has a REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code, so your own code or your assistant can send documents for signature.
- The same credits as the app. No subscription, no developer plan, 3 free documents a month, then you buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed.
- The same fit. The API doesn't change who SignWith suits: a team that needs HIPAA or contract management should still pick Signeasy.
SignWith templates, reminders, bulk send, team accounts and integrations are coming soon, so if you need any of those today, Signeasy is the better buy. SignWith is used by 1,000+ businesses, and you can start free with no card.
No subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed. One credit covers one signed document, however many people sign it.
- Unlimited credits
- Never expires
- One-time payment

Frequently asked questions
Is Signeasy free?
- No. Signeasy has no free plan; its pricing FAQ says "Signeasy offers a 14-day free trial", and paid plans start at $10 a month billed yearly ($120 a year) for Personal (checked October 2026). People you send documents to pay nothing and need no account.
Can I pay for Signeasy monthly?
- Yes. Behind the Monthly toggle on the pricing page, Personal is $15, Business $30 and Business Pro $40 per seat a month, against $10, $20 and $30 billed yearly (checked October 2026). The 100-day money-back guarantee covers yearly plans only.
How do I cancel my Signeasy subscription?
- On the web, click your initials, then Accounts & Settings, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription, per Signeasy's help center (updated August 28, 2026). Your plan runs to the end of the paid period. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel it in your iPhone's subscription settings, because Apple bills it.
Does Signeasy auto-renew?
- Yes. Signeasy's help center says "by default all of our plans auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle", and the pricing FAQ says subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel the auto-renewal (checked October 2026).
How many documents can I send on Signeasy Personal?
- Five a month. The pricing page lists "Send 5 contracts for signature monthly" on Personal, while you can sign unlimited documents yourself. Business and Business Pro send unlimited documents under a fair usage policy whose limit is not published (checked October 2026).
Does Signeasy have an API and an MCP server?
- Yes, both at extra cost. API plans start at $125 a month or $1,499 billed annually for 1,000 requests, with a free sandbox of 100 requests. The MCP server connects Claude to your contracts and is listed on the custom contract management plan (checked October 2026).
Is Signeasy HIPAA compliant?
- Signeasy's compliance page says it complies with HIPAA standards, and its pricing page sells HIPAA compliance as an add-on or on the custom Build Your Plan tier, not on the self-serve plans (checked October 2026). Confirm the plan with Signeasy sales in writing before you handle patient data.
Is an email from Signeasy a scam?
- Signeasy is a real e-signature company, but in 2026 a poster on Reddit's r/Scams described a fake PayPal purchase notice sent through Signeasy's notification email, with a phone number to call. Never call a number in an email like that; log in to your account directly to check.
E-signature rules vary by country, state and document type, so check with a legal professional that an e-signature suits your specific agreement before you rely on it.
