PandaDoc vs Signeasy: Document Builder or Mobile Signing App
PandaDoc vs Signeasy: a document builder with a free plan, or a mobile signing app that is cheaper on monthly billing. What a year costs and who each tool fits.
PandaDoc builds the document and then gets it signed. Signeasy signs the document you already have, often from a phone. Each vendor's own comparison picks the tiers that flatter it, and neither shows that the cheaper tool flips with the billing cycle.
In the PandaDoc vs Signeasy choice, buy PandaDoc if you write proposals and quotes inside the tool, and Signeasy if you send finished files for signature and want good mobile apps. I read both pricing pages in October 2026, pulled Capterra, Trustpilot and App Store reviews, and priced a year at 5, 10 and 25 documents a month.
On this page
The bottom line: which one should you buy?
If you build sales documents (proposals, quotes, contracts with pricing tables), buy PandaDoc. The editor, content library and open tracking are the product, and the signature is the last step.
If you sign and send finished files (a contract from Word, an NDA, a PDF from a client), buy Signeasy. Its apps sign offline, its Business plan sends without a monthly cap, and on monthly billing it costs less than PandaDoc.
If you send 5 documents a month or fewer and each has at most 2 recipients, PandaDoc Free covers you for $0. If you sign a few documents a month, unevenly, both tools still bill you for the whole year, and the last section of this page covers that case.
Head-to-head: PandaDoc vs Signeasy by category
The table shows the plans a small business compares first, as each vendor listed them in October 2026.

| 6. Integrations and API | Signeasy | Published API prices and a free sandbox |
| 7. Security and compliance | Depends on plan | Both route their regulated-industry options through sales |
| 8. Pricing | Depends on billing | PandaDoc on annual entry plans; Signeasy on monthly billing |

| 10. Reviews | Signeasy | Rated higher on Capterra in our September 2026 snapshot |
Prices in both tables checked October 2026 on PandaDoc pricing and Signeasy pricing.
1. Building documents
Winner: PandaDoc
This is why PandaDoc exists. You build a proposal or quote in a drag-and-drop editor, drop in a pricing table and saved content, send it, and see when the client opens it. Business adds custom quotes, a content library, deal rooms, approval workflows and CRM integrations.

Signeasy does not build documents. You upload a finished file, place fields and send. Its Business plan adds AI key-term extraction and a contract summary, which help you read a contract, not write one.
2. Signing finished files and mobile
Winner: Signeasy
Signeasy is built around its mobile apps. Its pricing page lists these on every plan, including Personal (checked October 2026):
- iPhone, iPad and Android apps, with offline signing.
- Google Workspace and Microsoft apps, so you can sign from Gmail, Drive or Outlook.
- Passcode and biometric authentication, and an audit trail.
- Recipients pay nothing and "need not even have a registered Signeasy account", per its pricing FAQ.

Its App Store rating is strong, as the review block in section 10 shows. PandaDoc also signs uploaded PDFs, but its interface is built around making the document, so someone who only uploads and signs pays for an editor they never open.
3. Free plan
Winner: PandaDoc
PandaDoc Free costs $0, needs no card and sends 5 documents a month with up to 5 templates. Its help center describes it as 60 documents a year with 2 recipients per document (PandaDoc Help Center, checked October 2026).
Signeasy has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial, and its cheapest plan is Personal at $120 a year (Signeasy pricing, checked October 2026). If you send 5 or fewer a month to 1 or 2 people, PandaDoc Free is the only one of the two that costs nothing.
4. Sending limits and fine print
Winner: Neither
Signeasy's cheapest plan has the clearest cap. Personal lets you sign unlimited documents yourself but "Send 5 contracts for signature monthly", and its plan table shows a dash under Personal for:
- Sequential signing and in-person signing.
- Automatic reminders and read receipts.
- Multi-document envelopes and templates.
Business removes the cap with "Send unlimited documents for signature", but the pricing page adds "Fair usage restrictions applicable", applied "within reasonable limits of use" per user account (checked October 2026 on Signeasy pricing).
PandaDoc's FAQ also says unused documents do not roll over between billing periods, although "annual plans give you the flexibility to use your full yearly allocation at any time during the year" (PandaDoc pricing, checked October 2026).
5. Templates and bulk send
Winner: Signeasy for templates, PandaDoc for bulk send
Signeasy Business includes 5 templates shared with the team, and Business Pro, at $30 per seat a month billed annually ($360 a year), includes unlimited templates. PandaDoc caps Free and Starter at 5 templates, and its next tier, Business, costs $49 per seat a month billed annually ($588 a year). Both checked October 2026 on Signeasy pricing and PandaDoc pricing.
Bulk send runs the other way. PandaDoc lists it on Business with usage credits. Signeasy sells bulk send only as an add-on through sales, marked "New", with no published price. Signeasy's own comparison page says PandaDoc has no bulk send; PandaDoc's plan table lists it.
6. Integrations and API
Winner: Signeasy, for published prices
Signeasy lists Google Workspace and Microsoft apps on every plan, Google Drive and OneDrive sync on Business, and SharePoint, HubSpot and OneDrive for Business on Business Pro. PandaDoc's own page about Signeasy still says "SignEasy only integrates with Zoho", which is out of date against Signeasy's pricing page in October 2026.
Signeasy publishes its API prices (checked October 2026):
- Sandbox: $0, 100 requests.
- Intermediate: $1,499 billed annually, 1,000 requests a year, with embedded signing, webhooks and templates.
- Advanced: $2,999 billed annually, 2,000 requests a year.
7. Security and compliance
Winner: Depends on the plan you buy
Both vendors publish their compliance details, so this is a fact check, not a judgment call. Here is what each listed in October 2026:
- Signeasy: its compliance page lists SOC 2 Type 2, with the report available to existing users on request, and says it "complies with HIPAA standards"; its pricing page sells HIPAA as an add-on through sales.
- PandaDoc: its pricing page lists SOC 2 Type II on its plan table and marks HIPAA compliance as optional, so confirm with PandaDoc sales which plan and terms include it.
If your business needs HIPAA or SOC 2, get the plan and price confirmed in writing by sales before you buy either one.
8. Pricing (checked October 2026)
Winner: Depends on billing: PandaDoc on annual entry plans, Signeasy on monthly billing
Both vendors lead with annual prices: PandaDoc's toggle says "Save up to 46%" and Signeasy's "Save up to 33%". Here is the full ladder, per seat, from PandaDoc pricing and Signeasy pricing, checked October 2026:
| Plan | Annual billing, per month | 1 year, annual | 1 year, monthly billing | Sending |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PandaDoc Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 5 documents a month |
| Signeasy Personal | $10 | $120 | $180 | 5 sends a month |
| PandaDoc Starter | $19 | $228 | $420 | Unlimited, FAQ lists overage |
| Signeasy Business | $20 | $240 | $360 | Unlimited, fair usage |
| Signeasy Business Pro | $30 | $360 | $480 | Unlimited, unlimited templates |
| PandaDoc Business | $49 | $588 | $780 | Unlimited, usage credits for some features |
| PandaDoc Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Per-seat or per-document |
| Signeasy Build Your Plan | Custom, 5+ seats | Custom | Custom | Custom |
The ladder crosses over. On annual billing PandaDoc is cheaper at the bottom: $0 against $120, and Starter's $228 against Signeasy Business's $240, a $12 gap. On monthly billing Signeasy wins: $360 against $420 for unlimited sending. For unlimited templates, Signeasy Business Pro at $360 beats PandaDoc Business at $588.
The numbers that set your real price
What a year costs for one sender, at the prices each vendor listed in October 2026, before tax. It takes both "unlimited" plans at face value:
| Volume (one sender) | PandaDoc, 1 year | Signeasy, 1 year | PandaDoc, 3 years | Signeasy, 3 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 documents a month | $0 on Free (2 recipients each); Starter $228 | $120 on Personal ($180 monthly); Business $240 | $0 on Free | $360 on Personal |
| 10 documents a month | $228 on Starter ($420 on monthly billing) | $240 on Business ($360 on monthly billing) | $684 | $720 |
| 25 documents a month | $228 on Starter ($420 on monthly billing) | $240 on Business ($360 on monthly billing) | $684 | $720 |
Per document on annual plans, PandaDoc Starter costs $3.80 at 5 a month, $1.90 at 10 and $0.76 at 25. Signeasy costs $2.00 at 5 on Personal, then $2.00 at 10 and $0.80 at 25 on Business. Sources: PandaDoc pricing and Signeasy pricing, checked October 2026.
For three senders, both tools charge every seat:
| Plan, 3 users | 1 year, annual | 1 year, monthly billing | 3 years, annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| PandaDoc Starter x 3 | $684 | $1,260 | $2,052 |
| Signeasy Business x 3 | $720 | $1,080 | $2,160 |
| Signeasy Business Pro x 3 | $1,080 | $1,440 | $3,240 |
| PandaDoc Business x 3 | $1,764 | $2,340 | $5,292 |
Prices in this table checked October 2026 on PandaDoc pricing and Signeasy pricing. Signeasy's Build Your Plan starts at 5 seats, with custom pricing.
9. Refunds and billing
Winner: Signeasy
Signeasy offers a 100-day money-back guarantee on yearly Personal, Business and Business Pro plans, and "no partial refunds will be provided after 100 days of your purchase". Plans renew automatically, and you can cancel any time, keeping access to the end of the period (Signeasy pricing FAQ, checked October 2026).
PandaDoc offers a 14-day free trial, and its FAQ says unused documents do not roll over between billing periods. Annual billing is where PandaDoc's price advantage lives, so check the renewal date: a Trustpilot reviewer, Daniel, wrote in September 2026 that he "saw a charge come through for the year" and wanted a monthly plan.
10. What users like and complain about
Winner: Signeasy, on ratings
On Capterra, the one platform where both appear in our September 2026 snapshot, Signeasy is rated higher, though PandaDoc has more reviews. PandaDoc reviewers like the editor, templates and open tracking, and dislike paid add-ons, annual charges and contracts that expire.
“I do not use e-signing very often for my business and PandaDoc is very user friendly for my clients as well as flexible to my budget.”
“I also like the e sign functionality and the ability to see when recipients open or view a document.”
“The ability to have dynamic documents, and easy to use template, and content libraries have shaved so much time off my schedule.”
“The pricing became difficult to justify, especially as many features I expected to be included required additional paid add-ons.”
“I do not love that it is not easy to edit a sent contract and also contracts expire which creates issues with having to resend and confusing clients.”
“Just dealt with their customer service as I saw a charge come through for the year. I wanted to go to a month by month plan.”
Review snapshot checked Sep 2026.
Signeasy reviewers praise how simple it is to sign from a phone or a laptop and the price. The complaints are about getting logged out, an email gate before download, and relearning the app when you use it only now and then.
“The platform made it easy as mentioned in the name to sign important documents.”
“I am so grateful I found this app. I really struggled with DocuSign for my business and this made it so much more simple.”
“Simple to use either from the phone or laptop, and more cost friendly than the other place.”
“It is not an easy app - not intuitive. I don’t use it often, and every time have to spend lots of time trying to figure out how it works.”
“Multiple times now I’m logged out and need to go through all sorts of loopholes to get my account back.”
“Site and service is junk. I had to enter an e-mail to do anything (I was told AFTER I took my time signing a simple PDF and tried to download it).”

The tree in words: if you build proposals or quotes, pick PandaDoc. If you don't, and you send 5 or fewer a month to 1 or 2 people each, PandaDoc Free covers you. Above that, pick Signeasy Business if you sign on a phone or pay monthly; otherwise PandaDoc Starter on annual billing is $12 a year cheaper.
What both tools miss: signing without a seat
Both PandaDoc and Signeasy bill a seat by the month or the year, whether you send one document or fifty. Neither fits one or two people getting client contracts, NDAs and agreements signed a few times a month, unevenly.
A Signeasy App Store reviewer described the occasional-user problem in February 2026: "I don't use it often, and every time have to spend lots of time trying to figure out how it works."
SignWith has no seats and no subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed, so a declined, voided or expired document uses no credit. Our approach is one short flow: upload, place fields, send.
- Upload a PDF, JPEG or PNG, add signature, date, text and checkbox fields, and set the signing order.
- Your recipients sign in the browser on any device, with no account, or sign in person.
- Every completed document comes with a Certificate of Completion that records timestamps, IP addresses, device and browser details and email events, sealed with a SHA-256 hash.
10 signed documents a month for a year, one sender
- SignWith, cheapest packs84 paid documents: 1 x Basic + 1 x Pro + 1 x Business$57
- SignWith Lifetime Dealone-time, unlimited credits$149
- PandaDoc Starter$19 per seat month, 1 seat$228
- Signeasy Business$20 per seat month, 1 seat$240
At 10 a month, the SignWith free allowance covers 3 documents every month, and one Basic pack ($9), one Pro pack ($19) and one Business pack ($29) cover the other 84 of the year. That compares with $228 for PandaDoc Starter and $240 for Signeasy Business (checked October 2026).
The other volumes, honestly:
- 5 a month: PandaDoc Free costs $0 if 2 recipients per document is enough, and that is hard to beat. On SignWith, the free allowance plus one Pro pack ($19) covers it, against $120 for Signeasy Personal.
- 25 a month: SignWith packs would cost more than the Lifetime Deal, so the Lifetime Deal at $149 one-time, once, is the cheaper route. Over 3 years, Signeasy Business comes to $720 and PandaDoc Starter to $684.
- Three senders: SignWith team accounts are coming soon, so a team would share one SignWith account today. A team that needs seats, roles and shared templates now is better served by Signeasy Business or PandaDoc Starter.
If you build proposals, sign offline on a phone, or need HIPAA or SOC 2 today, pick PandaDoc or Signeasy as the sections above describe. SignWith templates, bulk send, reminders, team accounts and integrations are coming soon; the SignWith API is live. There are no native mobile apps. SignWith is used by 1,000+ businesses.
No subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed. One credit covers one signed document, however many people sign it.

How many documents can I send on Signeasy Personal?

E-signature rules vary by country, state and document type, so check with a legal professional that an e-signature suits your specific agreement before you rely on it.
