Signaturely Review 2026: Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict
Signaturely review: a $240 plan capped at 5 requests a month, a separate $49 API plan, no MCP server, and two free-plan lines that disagree, checked Oct 2026.
Signaturely holds 4.8 out of 5 on G2 from 595 reviews and 4.8 on Capterra from 361. On Trustpilot it holds 2.2 from 9 (all checked October 2026). On Capterra, 20 of the 25 reviews on the first page date from 2021 and 2022.
My Signaturely review in one line: it is a plain, easy signing tool with a Personal plan that costs $240 a year and stops at 5 signature requests a month, an API sold as a separate subscription, and no MCP server.

Signaturely review verdict: who it's for and who should skip it
Signaturely is worth paying for when a small team sends documents every week and wants unlimited requests, shared templates and its own branding on one simple plan. It is poor value for one person who sends a few documents a month, because Personal costs $240 a year and stops at 5 requests a month.
Best for: small teams on Business that send steadily; people who want the plainest possible signing flow; developers who need embedded signing or white label and are happy with a separate API plan.
Skip if: you send fewer than about 5 documents a month, your volume swings from month to month, you need HIPAA or SOC 2 paperwork, or you want to connect an AI assistant through MCP.
Here is how users rate Signaturely on review sites, checked October 2026.
| Platform | Rating | Number of reviews | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.8 / 5 | 595 reviews | October 2026 |
| Capterra | 4.8 / 5 | 361 reviews | October 2026 |
| AppSumo | 4.28 / 5 | 92 reviews | October 2026 |
| Trustpilot | 2.2 / 5 | 9 reviews | October 2026 |
| Product Hunt | No reviews | 0 | October 2026 |
Sources: G2, Capterra, AppSumo and Trustpilot. Of G2's 595 reviews, 592 give 4 or 5 stars, and one each gives 3, 2 and 1.
What users say about Signaturely, 2021 to 2026
The ratings are high and old. Of the 25 reviews on Capterra's first page, 20 are from 2021 and 2022, and one is from 2026. Trustpilot is small and mostly negative: 6 of its 9 reviews give 1 star, and 4 of those 6 are about sign-up or about scam emails, not about using the product.
The rating split: early reviewers vs recent ones
“The security of this app is amazing. I feel very comfortable using their document management tools...”
“Its FAST! The UI and UX is also very good its clean and simple to use.”
“This is a great tool for the price...”
“And the pricing is a little high considering that Signaturely don't have these trigger options available.”
“I least like the customer support. They took a while to respond to my issue about not receiving notifications for my emails.”
“I would say it is a higher price, especially compared to competitors that offer similar products for cheaper or even for free.”
Review snapshot checked Oct 2026.
Below, the reviews are grouped by theme, complaints in full and a few positives. Every quote is copied as written, dated and linked to where it was posted. Quotes from 2021 and 2022 describe the product as it was then; prices and features have changed since.
Pricing and billing: the trial, sign-up and price
The one 2026 Trustpilot review is a one-star claim about the trial and about signed copies. A 2025 Trustpilot reviewer says he was asked for bank details while activating what he took to be a free service. Two Capterra reviewers call the price high, and a third says the free version's limits may mean upgrading sooner than expected.
“Slow, terrible customer service, illegally try to trick you into signing up for their trial, refuse to give you copies of documents once signed, AVOID THEM!!”
A one-star review titled "SCAM!!". These are his claims, not findings: about support, the trial sign-up and getting signed copies.
“Offered free service on google search then after 20 minutes creating signature then opening and activating account was asked for bank details before " final" activation. Screams like a scam.”
His account of being asked for bank details during sign-up; "scam" is his word.
“I would say it is a higher price, especially compared to competitors that offer similar products for cheaper or even for free.”
“Also, some features are limited in the free version, so you might need to upgrade sooner than expected.”
“And the pricing is a little high considering that Signaturely don't have these trigger options available.”
After noting there is no way to trigger actions in shop platforms once a document is signed.
“This is a great tool for the price. I am very happy with it and have had zero issues with guests being able to accurately complete the signature process of our rental agreements.”
She adds that she bought it on an AppSumo special.
Signaturely's own pages say little about the trial: the pricing FAQ mentions it, but no Signaturely page I read gives its length or says whether it needs a card. The free-plan help article adds: "If you don't want to use the trial, you'll need to wait 24 hours to access the free plan."
Support: slow replies, with some praise
Three reviewers describe slow or missing support, in 2024 and 2026. Earlier reviewers on AppSumo and Capterra praise the team for answering.
“I least like the customer support. They took a while to respond to my issue about not receiving notifications for my emails.”
“I have subscribed to signaturely. However when i sought assistance in using the app they haven't responded to my query. Looks like they took the money and ran. Not happy (!!)”
His claim that support did not answer his question after he subscribed.
“Slow, terrible customer service...”
The opening of the review quoted in full above.
“They do a really good job of attending to problems... which do happen from time to time.”
“No cons, all pros! They are very responsive for support”
Signaturely's pricing page lists no support level for any plan, and its refund article says it aims to answer refund requests within 5 working days.
Ease of use: simple, with a clunky editor
Ease of use is the main praise in the reviews I read. The complaints are about the field and template editors, pre-filling documents, and a few things that confused reviewers.
“A bit lagging with the fields editor, kinda clunky. I wish the fields would kinda align with line grid or something.”
“the ability to prefill documents before they are sent, without pre-filling documents it makes it a real pain to reuse documents/templates.”
Part of a list of missing features.
“It's also a little confusing to me when I sign a document myself, the app says a copy is being emailed to me, but it isn't actually emailed.”
“They can improve on their template editing... and I was told by support that it will be improved in the near future.”
“Some functionalities are not so intuitive for me.”
“The security of this app is amazing. I feel very comfortable using their document management tools. It is very easy to manage my work on this platform.”
“Its FAST! The UI and UX is also very good its clean and simple to use.”
“As a self-admitted design nut, I really appreciate the sleek, modern and clean UI. has made getting my documents signed from freelance clients a breeze and I'm looking forward to seeing Signaturely continue to grow.”
Signer experience: blank fields and branding
The signer-side complaints are about documents arriving incomplete or blank, signers who cannot finish, a signing page that shows Signaturely's logo instead of the sender's, email branding one reviewer calls not pretty, and one claim about signed copies.
“Sending out very simple 6 page docs for initials and one signature and all the pages are not being received. Also, the recipient is signing and the system confirms was completed. When I open the dos, the signature/initialed areas are blank.”
A one-star review from a realtor.
“customers have trouble filling it out completely at times.”
“it would be nice, when a client accesses the document for signature, for the page to reflect my firm logo vs. Signaturely.”
“The branding in emails is not pretty.”
“refuse to give you copies of documents once signed”
Part of the review quoted in full above; his claim.
“Getting new hires to sign their NDA and other contracts. Sending contracts for approval to 2 or 3 signers. It sends the email to the 1st signer, and only after he/she has signed, it sends the next fields blank to the 3rd signer. At the end, all parties get a copy.”
On copies, Signaturely's Terms say a signer without an account "will be able to download or print Documents he/she has signed but will not be able to review at a later time Documents signed by him or her." Custom business branding is on the Business plan only.
Features, integrations, the API and MCP
Feature complaints are mostly about language, integrations and reliability. Two 2021 Capterra reviewers and one 2024 Trustpilot reviewer asked for Zapier, which Zapier now lists as an integration. I found no user reviews about Signaturely's API. On Reddit, two users say they use Signaturely for their contracts, one because it is simpler than DocuSign.
“For me the worst thing is: 1.- It is not multi-language, it only has English language and all the messages on screen are in English. 2.- The emails that the user receives are not customizable (and can not be translated into your language) 3.- It is not multi-brand or multi-business. If you have 2 or 3 lines of business in your company, you can only use it for 1 or you will have to buy 1 unique account for each brand”
A 2 out of 5 review. He lists ease of use, speed and security as the best things.
“This used to be a great service for us, but lately it's been very buggy and unreliable. We frequently find ourselves sending signatures out a day or more late which sometimes pushes a project timeline.”
“What I liked least is that it doesn't connect directly with all the tools we use, like our HR software.”
“The only Cons I found was that the software has only a few integrations. There is no option to trigger actions after the sign with tools like Magento, Woocommerce, Shopify, Opencart, etc.”
“It does seem however that you can't upload batch documents into one email for signatures. I also disliked that there is no integration for zapier, integrately, or pabbly.”
“I don't like that the Audit Trail is included all the time. There are some cases where I just need to sign something and I don't need an audit trail to accompany it and it's frustrating that it cannot be optional.”
“Otherwise, Docusign is the industry leader, but personally I use Signaturely. I find it to be much more simplified and slick looking.”
“I use signaturely.com, purely for contact signing. My software is used by organisations, so agreements are contractual.”
Signaturely has no MCP server. Its pricing page, API pricing page and API documentation, checked October 6, 2026, mention none. The API docs offer a "Copy prompt for AI assistant" button on each endpoint, which helps you write code, but there is no server an assistant can connect to.
What Signaturely is and its key features
Signaturely is a browser-based e-signature service. You upload a document, place signature and other fields, send it to one or more signers, and track it until it is signed. Its unit is the signature request: one document sent for signature, counted when it is sent, however many people sign it.
Here is what each plan includes, per Signaturely's pricing page, checked October 6, 2026:
| Feature | Free | Personal | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price, billed annually | $0 | $240 a year | $480 per user a year |
| Price, billed monthly | $0 | $25 a month | $50 per user a month |
| Signature requests | 1 (see the wording below) | 5 a month | Unlimited |
| Templates | Not listed | 1 | Unlimited |
| Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Box | Yes, per help center | Yes | Yes |
| Notifications and reminders | Yes, per help center | Yes | Yes |
| Audit log and history | Yes, per help center | Yes | Yes |
| Team management | No | No | Yes |
| Custom business branding | No | No | Yes |
| API | Separate plan | Separate plan | Separate plan |
The free plan has no price card on the pricing page; its column comes from the FAQ and the help center. I found no Signaturely app on the App Store or Google Play (searched October 6, 2026), so you send and sign in the browser.
On security, Signaturely's security page lists 256-bit encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive data, two-factor authentication, third-party penetration tests and Stripe for card payments. The ISO 27001 and FISMA certifications it names belong to the Amazon data centers it uses, not to Signaturely. The page claims no HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance.
What Signaturely does well
Signaturely's strengths are real, and they explain the early 4.8 scores.
- It is plain. Reviewers on Capterra, G2, Trustpilot and Reddit praise how simple it is to use. There is little to learn.
- Unlimited sends on Business. $40 per user a month on annual billing buys unlimited signature requests and templates, team management and your own branding (checked October 2026).
- Cloud storage imports. Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Box are on every paid plan.
- A full API for developers. The API docs cover documents, templates, bulk send from a template, reminders, teams, folders and webhooks for sent and completed documents, with a free test key and a test mode.
- Zapier. Zapier lists a Signaturely integration with triggers for sent, viewed and completed documents (Zapier's page, checked October 2026).
Signaturely pricing in 2026 (checked October 2026)
Signaturely's pricing page has a Monthly and an Annually toggle; annual billing saves 20%. Here is what it listed on October 6, 2026, before tax:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Signature requests | Templates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 (see below) | Not listed |
| Personal | $25 a month ($300 a year) | $240 a year | 5 a month | 1 |
| Business | $50 per user a month ($600 a year) | $480 per user a year | Unlimited | Unlimited |
The free plan: the pricing page contradicts itself
Signaturely's pricing FAQ describes the free plan in two ways on the same page, checked October 6, 2026. Under "Is Signaturely really Free to use?" it says:
The next answer, under "What does it mean I have 1 document free to sign?", says:
Signaturely's help center (both articles updated June 28, 2025) says "you can request one document for e-signature every month" and "this plan will let you send 1 signature request per month".
So the help center says monthly, and the pricing page says monthly in one answer and once per account in the next. A pricing page that cannot say what its own free plan includes is a problem with the product, not a detail: you should not have to guess what you are getting.
If the free plan matters to you, ask Signaturely in writing before you rely on it.
The API is a separate subscription
The API pricing page says: "The API Plans are billed independently from Signaturely’s regular plans." Here are the API plans, checked October 6, 2026:
| API plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | API signature requests | Templates | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | $49 a month | $40 a month | 50 a month | 5 | None listed |
| Platinum | $99 a month | $80 a month | 150 a month | 25 | OAuth, embedded signing and requesting, personalized branding |
| Titanium | $199 a month | $160 a month | 500 a month | Unlimited | All of Platinum, plus full white label |
You can test the API for free with a free API key. A signature request is one document, and "the number of signatures on each document won’t affect the number of requests".

Renewals, refunds and cancelling
Here is what Signaturely's Terms (no date shown) and help center (articles updated June 28, 2025) say, read October 6, 2026:
- Plans renew on their own. The Terms say the subscription "shall automatically renew on the same terms and conditions" unless you give "written notice of non-renewal" before it expires.
- Cancelling takes effect at renewal. A subscription can be ended "at any time, for any or no reason, effective on the next renewal date."
- The Terms rule out refunds. When you end a subscription, "termination shall be effective at the end of the then-current Subscription Term and there shall be no refunds or discounts of the Subscription Fee paid."
- The help center takes refund requests. Its refund article asks you to cancel first, then email the account, payment date and amount: "All refund requests are reviewed manually by our team. We aim to respond within 5 working days."
- Downgrades wait too. You can downgrade "effective upon the renewal date", with "no credits or offsets" for the rest of the term.
To cancel, the help center says: log in, open Settings, go to the Billing tab, click Cancel Subscription, confirm in the pop-up and answer a short questionnaire. Your account moves to the free plan at the end of the billing period.
Where Signaturely falls short
The weak points are in the plan limits, the pricing page and the terms. Each one comes from Signaturely's own pages, checked October 6, 2026.
- Personal stops at 5 requests a month. The sixth document in a month needs Business, which doubles the price to $480 a year.
- A request counts when it is sent. The help center says "Each Signature request will be counted as soon as the document is sent to the signer", so a document nobody signs still uses one.
- Its own pricing page contradicts itself. The free plan is "1 document for free every month" in one FAQ answer and "1 document for e-signature per account" in the next, so you cannot tell from Signaturely's own page what the free plan gives you.
- The API is a second bill. Any API use starts at $49 a month, or $480 a year on Gold annual, on top of a regular plan.
- No MCP server, no HIPAA or SOC 2 claim. None of the pages I checked mention any of them.
- No refunds in the Terms, automatic renewal. The help center invites refund requests, but the Terms say there are none.
What a year of Signaturely costs at 5, 10 and 25 documents a month
At real small-business volumes, one sender pays $240 or $480 a year on annual billing, and $300 or $600 on monthly billing. The table uses the cheapest plan that covers each volume, at prices checked October 6, 2026 on Signaturely's pricing page, before tax:
| Volume, one sender | Cheapest plan that fits | 1 year, billed annually | 1 year, billed monthly | 3 years, billed annually | Per document, annually |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 a month (60 a year) | Personal, which caps at exactly 5 a month | $240 | $300 | $720 | $4.00 |
| 10 a month (120 a year) | Business | $480 | $600 | $1,440 | $4.00 |
| 25 a month (300 a year) | Business | $480 | $600 | $1,440 | $1.60 |
Personal can't stretch to 10 a month, because it caps at 5 requests, so the next step is Business. A burst month counts too: send 20 documents in one month and nothing after, and that month needs Business at $50.
Which Signaturely plan fits you
Match the plan to how many documents you send and what you need on day one.
| You are | Plan | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Someone sending a single document | Free | 1 request; the pricing page words the limit two ways |
| One person sending 2 to 5 documents a month | Personal, $240 a year | 5 requests a month and 1 template |
| One person or a team sending more than 5 a month | Business, $480 per user a year | Unlimited requests and templates |
| A team that wants its own branding or team management | Business, $480 per user a year | Those features are Business only |
| A developer embedding signing in an app | API plans, from $49 a month | Billed separately; embedded signing starts on Platinum |
| Anyone who needs HIPAA or SOC 2 paperwork | Probably not Signaturely | Its security page claims neither |
| One person signing a few documents a month, unevenly | Probably not Signaturely | The plan renews either way; see the last section |
Prices checked October 6, 2026 on Signaturely's pricing and API pricing pages.

How I reviewed Signaturely
I and my team have used Signaturely. For this review I also read Signaturely's own pages and what its users wrote from 2021 to 2026, and checked everything again on October 6, 2026:
- Vendor pages: the pricing page and FAQ, the API pricing page and FAQ, the API documentation, the security page, the Terms and Conditions, and four help center articles on the free plan, pricing, cancelling and refunds (all updated June 28, 2025).
- Review platforms: G2 (sorted lowest rated first), Capterra, Trustpilot (all 9 reviews) and AppSumo, with reviews dated 2021 to 2026. Product Hunt shows no reviews.
- App stores: I found no Signaturely app on the App Store or Google Play.
- Forums: Reddit threads found through Google, two of which are quoted. Hacker News has only a 2022 launch post with no comments.
- Third party: Zapier's own Signaturely listing.
Who should skip Signaturely, and what to use instead
Keep Signaturely if you run a team that sends every week and wants templates, team management and its own branding today on one simple plan. If your business needs HIPAA or SOC 2 paperwork, look at a tool that publishes it, such as the plans covered in our DocuSign review; Signaturely claims neither.
Skip Signaturely if you are one or two people who want a simple way to get a document signed, a few times a month and unevenly, with nothing that renews. That is who we built SignWith for.
SignWith has no seats and no subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed. Every signed document uses one of your free monthly documents or a credit, including one that only you sign, and a declined, voided or expired document uses none.
- Upload a PDF, JPEG or PNG, add signature, date, text and checkbox fields, and set the signing order.
- Your recipients sign in the browser on any device, with no account.
- Every completed document comes with a Certificate of Completion that records timestamps, IP addresses, device and browser details and email events, sealed with a SHA-256 hash.

- Signaturely Business, billed annually$480 per year$480
- Signaturely Business, billed monthly$50 per month$600
Here is the same year, side by side, at all three volumes. Signaturely prices checked October 6, 2026; SignWith prices render from our pricing data, and the free monthly documents continue after you buy packs.
| Volume | Signaturely, 1 year (annual / monthly billing) | SignWith, 1 year |
|---|---|---|
| 5 a month | $240 / $300 (Personal) | 3 free a month cover 36 documents; one Pro pack covers the other 24 for $19 |
| 10 a month | $480 / $600 (Business) | 84 paid documents: one Business, one Pro and one Basic pack, $29 plus $19 plus $9 |
| 25 a month | $480 / $600 (Business) | 264 paid documents: the Lifetime Deal at $149 one-time, cheaper than buying packs |
At today's prices that saves $221 (92%) at 5 a month, $423 (88%) at 10 and $331 (69%) at 25 in the first year, against Signaturely billed annually. Over 3 years, Signaturely comes to $720, $1,440 and $1,440 at those volumes, against the Lifetime Deal at $149 one-time, once.
Signaturely Business gets cheaper per document as you send more. From about 70 documents a month, one Business seat billed annually costs less than SignWith credit packs, though the Lifetime Deal still costs less in the first year.
Signaturely sells its API as a separate plan, from $49 a month for 50 requests, and has no MCP server (checked October 6, 2026). SignWith takes a different route:
- An API and an MCP server on every account. SignWith has a REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code, so your own code or your assistant can send documents for signature.
- The same credits as the app. No subscription, no developer plan, 3 free documents a month, then you buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed.
- The same fit. The API doesn't change who SignWith suits: a team that wants unlimited sends with its own branding today should still pick Signaturely Business.
SignWith templates, reminders, team accounts and integrations are coming soon, so if you need any of those today, Signaturely is the better buy. SignWith is used by 1,000+ businesses, and you can start free with no card.
No subscription. You buy credits, and a credit is used only when a document is signed. One credit covers one signed document, however many people sign it.
- Unlimited credits
- Never expires
- One-time payment

Frequently asked questions
Is Signaturely free?
- There is a free plan for 1 document, but the pricing page contradicts itself on how often. One FAQ answer says the free account "allows you to send 1 document for free every month"; the next says the free plan "lets you request 1 document for e-signature per account" (both checked October 6, 2026). Paid plans start at $25 a month or $240 a year for 5 requests a month.
How much does Signaturely cost?
- Personal is $25 a month or $240 a year, with 5 signature requests a month and 1 template. Business is $50 per user a month or $480 per user a year, with unlimited requests and templates, team management and custom branding (checked October 6, 2026).
Does Signaturely have an API or an MCP server?
- It has an API, sold as separate plans "billed independently" from the regular ones: Gold $49 a month for 50 requests, Platinum $99 for 150 and Titanium $199 for 500, or $40, $80 and $160 a month billed annually. It has no MCP server (checked October 6, 2026).
Can I get a refund from Signaturely?
- The Terms say that when you end a subscription "there shall be no refunds or discounts of the Subscription Fee paid". The help center (updated June 28, 2025) still takes refund requests by email after you cancel, reviews them manually and aims to answer within 5 working days.
Is Signaturely HIPAA compliant?
- Signaturely does not claim it. Its security page lists encryption, two-factor authentication and penetration tests, and names no HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance (checked October 6, 2026). Ask Signaturely in writing before you send health information.
Does Signaturely have a mobile app?
- I found no Signaturely app on the App Store or Google Play (searched October 6, 2026). It runs in the browser.
E-signature rules vary by country, state and document type, so check with a legal professional that an e-signature suits your specific agreement before you rely on it.
