Sign a document yourself

On this page

Use SELF SIGN when you are the only person who needs to sign, such as a form you have to return. You place your fields, sign, and download the result, usually in about a minute. Self-signing counts as one document toward your monthly free documents.

Start self-signing

  1. Upload your document and place your fields, such as Signature, Date and Text.
  2. Click SELF SIGN at the top right of the editor. On a saved document's page, click SIGN YOURSELF instead.
  3. A new tab opens with your document name and your email already filled in. Click START.
  4. Click AGREE AND SIGN DOCUMENT.

You do not need to click SAVE first; fields you placed are kept. The start page says you were invited by yourself, which is expected for self-signing.

Sign and finish

  1. Signature: if you have signed with SignWith before in this browser, your earlier signature is shown. Keep it, or click REDRAW, TYPE or UPLOAD.
  2. Fill in the other fields, such as Set Today for the date and your name in the text field.
  3. Click NEXT after each field and COMPLETE on the last one.
  4. On "Document has been signed!", click DOWNLOAD or SEND COPY VIA EMAIL.

The signed document and its Certificate of Completion are also saved in your account, under Completed on your dashboard.

Sign documents without another subscription.

Upload, sign and send in minutes. When you need more than the free documents, buy credits once, and a credit is used only when a document is signed.
